Melanie Davis, LMSW is a licensed master social worker providing teletherapy in the state of Maryland under the clinical supervision of Laura Boudman, LCSW-C (License No. 24948). With over five years of experience, Melanie is a dedicated therapist who brings warmth, insight, and deep empathy to her work. She has a natural gift for this profession, something that is consistently felt and seen by those around her. She is passionate about supporting clients across all age groups, with an emphasis on trauma.

Melanie has experience working with individuals who struggle with PTSD, grief, relational issues, anxiety, and depression. Melanie uses Internal Family Systems (IFS), particularly to help people heal their inner critics. She also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and Eye Movement Integration (i.e., a condensed version of EMDR).

Melanie is looking forward to working alongside her clients as they navigate their healing journey. Her goal is to help clients feel safe, and to provide them with the tools that they need to grow and heal. Melanie is excited to help clients discover their purpose in life. 

In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her daughter, being around water, working out at the YMCA where she really loves water Zumba, reading self growth books, attending college football games, and watching sports.
